Our Programs: School Year & Summer Camp

School Year Programs

Our school year is similar to the Chicago Public Schools calendar, running from the beginning of September until the middle of June. We offer two programs during the school year: Drop-off and Parent-Child.

The Drop-off program has three options:

  • Five days a week (Monday through Friday)

  • Three days a week (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday)

  • Two days a week (Thursday and Friday)

The school day for the Drop-off program runs from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and is for children between 3 and 7 years old.

The Parent-Child program invites caregivers and children to attend one or two days a week, and is integrated into the Drop-Off program. This program starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 11 a.m., and is for children under 3 years old.

Summer Garden Session

Our Summer Garden Session is the same as during the school year—it has both the Drop-Off and Parent-Child programs, as described above—except:

  1. Families can sign up for each or any week during the summer, and

  2. Children up to eight years old are invited to attend.

You can apply to be on the Summer Garden Session waitlist after reading the waitlist FAQs. Please note that we use the same waitlist for summer programs and for school year programs; you’ll have the option to select both on the waitlist application, and you will be contacted in the order you applied for each program’s enrollment.

Summer Garden Session starts the week after July 4th and runs for seven weeks.
